I received a delightfully funky flyer in the mail on Saturday inviting me to the annual Ya-Ya Sisterhood gathering at Thanksgiving Point on October 18th. It looks like it will be a hoot, and I'm wondering if any of you have attended in the past. If so, is it worth going? I must say that I am thoroughly excited to dress up in crazy regalia, decorate a lantern for the contest, and head on down to Emporium (one of my favorite shops) to view the spectacle that is hundreds of housewives decked to the nines. UPDATE: I went in to Emporium today and aside from seeing about a million amazing things I want for my bedroom and kitchen, I found out that all Halloween/Fall decor will be 40% off during the Ya Ya event, and Christmas decor will be 25% off. They are having the Glitter Toes ladies there as well as food from Melting Pot (come on, Amy!). It will be great fun and I'm for sure going!

That looks like fun! Do you really have to dress up?? I would love to go but I don't know if I could dress up....I'm sure you know by now that our family isn't the dressing up type. :) Love the Glitter Toes idea though and the decorations! It really does look kind of fun though. What a cute idea!!
I think it sounds like a lot of fun. if only oscar was a little bit older i would go. let me know what i missed out on.
