It's a matter of time lines. When you are 20 years older looking back with the wise eyes of a sage you will say, yes, it was worth it and it was so fun. It's more of a delayed reaction though, like hearing the jet 20 seconds after it's gone over. Last night I was actually contemplating the same subject and I've decided I'd like to write a screenplay for a commercial where the husband goes to work and his co-workers act like children. They run up to his cubical and yell right in his ear, they ask the same question 50 times, they throw things like staplers at your head, they wipe their snot on your clean suit, and then they spill their Red Bull on your key board. At the end of the day they come up with great enthusiasm that nearly knocks you over and give you a kiss and a hug good bye. I don't think that last one would have the intended effect, but still, I'm sure it would be wet. This is the thankless and unpaid job of the mom, but that kiss at the end of the day from the cute kiddos really does make it all better, better than band-aides.
Hey, I had one of those days yesterday as well! Maybe we can remind eachother :). You really do such a great job with your kids though, Nat. You're a fantastic mother and wife!!

I don't know if I can say "fun"...but it is definitely rewarding (at some point ;).
Hang in there. It will get better!

People keep telling us that we will look back on these days and miss them. I think they have early memory loss!
